Entscheide dich mit einer Uhr aus der G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary „Recrystallized“ Special Edition für einen verbindlichen und außergewöhnlichen Stil. Wir feiern das Jubiläum der allerersten G-SHOCK DW-5000, die vor 40 Jahren im April 1983 auf den Markt kam. Zu diesem Anlass gibt es mit der GMW-B5000PG eine Sonderedition und Ergänzung zu den GMW-B5000-Vollmetall-Modellen. Diese Uhr ist nur in limitierter Auflage erhältlich und mit rekristallisiertem und tiefschichtgehärtetem Edelstahl ummantelt, der eigens für diese Kollektion entwickelt wurde. Die verschraubte Gehäuserückseite, die Schnalle und die Armbandschlaufe sind mit Rekristallisierung und Tiefschichthärtung bearbeitet. Durch die schwarz ionenplattierte Gehäuserückseite und die golden ionenplattierte Schnalle und Armbandschlaufe entsteht ein origineller Look mit bemerkenswerter Strahlkraft. Um die Umweltbelastung zu verringern, werden die Einfassung und das Armband aus biobasiertem Resin hergestellt. Auf der Armbandschlaufe sind vier Sterne für die 40 Jahre und auf dem Display die Worte „PROJECT TEAM ‚Tough‘“ (in Erinnerung an das Team, das die allererste G-SHOCK entwickelt hat) eingraviert. Auf der Rückseite des Gehäuses ist das von Eric Haze entworfene 40th-Anniversary-Logo sowie auf dem linken unteren Drücker ein Stern eingraviert. Kaum eine andere Uhr spiegelt das 40. Jubiläum der G-SHOCK so gut wider.

Paying homage to the very first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C, this model features recrystallisation and deep-layer hardening processes applied to the screw-lock case back, buckle, and band loop. Black IP is then applied to the case back, and gold-coloured IP to the buckle and band loop. In addition, the bezel and band are made with bio-based resins to help reduce environmental impact. The words ‘PROJECT TEAM “Tough”’ adorn the dial. The screw-lock case back is engraved with the anniversary logo, while the band loop features four stars to commemorate the four decades of G-SHOCK. Another star is engraved on the Mode button on the lower left side of the case.
*The stainless steel is processed into components and then recrystallised, yielding unique differences in crystalline grain. This makes the pattern, colour tone, and lustre differ subtly from part to part.
**Due to the screw-lock construction of the case back, the orientation of the logo and lettering on it may not match up perfectly with the dial.

This is the name of the team that worked with IBE Kikuo, the father of G-SHOCK, to develop the very first DW-5000C model. In 1983, the team brought IBE’s vision of constructing “a durable watch that would not break even if dropped” to fruition with a tough watch featuring an unparalleled shock-resistant structure. To commemorate the completion of that very first G-SHOCK, a special model inscribed with the team’s name was distributed only to the eight team members.
