Plastik Funk
After two successful years at the world's biggest club, it was time for a change, and ready for the 2007 summer season
Plastik Funk moved its residency from Privilege to Space in Ibiza and are currently
travelling all around the world on the "In Bed With Space" tour. In collaboration
with the legendary Afterhour, which sets musical trends every Wednesday during the summer on the terrace at Space and in
clubs, they will continue with their own "PlastikFunkTastik" season
on the Balearic island. They are now looking back on their fourth consecutive season on THE island
and recall some of the highlights, such as the Bacardi Pre-Party with Groove Armada, Pete Tong and Roisin Murphy
of Moloko, the Space Closing Party 2006, the Space Opening Party 2007 and the Privilege Opening Party 2005. There will be
more to follow...
Plastik Funk also made a musical contribution at the resurrected Love Parade and the
phenomenal Street Parade in Zurich. Large events
and festivals have become familiar home ground for Plastik Funk, who in the past have played
at Sensation White (Gelsenkirchen), B-Live (Cologne & Sylt), Nature One (Kastellaun),
the Love Parade (Berlin), Street Parade (Zurich), Energy (Zurich), Love2Dance (Lisbon), Ruhr in Love (Gelsenkirchen/
Oberhausen) and G-Move (Hamburg) etc.
In 2009 the two residents of Wahl-Dusseldorf were signed up to play Mayday in Dortmund, the Discofestival in Kassel
and the MTV Clubtour. Their residencies in Ibiza also featured again on the programme.
Plans are currently being put in place for the upcoming Balearic summer!
