How accurate is the Heart Rate Monitor (HRM)?
The heart rate monitor determines the data using an optical light sensor, measuring up to 220bpm. This technology is used by most manufacturers today because it is relatively accurate and supports people who train and track their performances. The light from the LED penetrates the skin and the blood vessels underneath. Depending on the volume of blood, the light is absorbed or reflected. The optical sensor measures the reflecting light, whereby the current pulse can be determined. For an ECG-accurate measurement, of course, you have to go to a doctor, only doctors can do reliable ECG-accurate measurements, because several measuring points are necessary for this. But the heart rate data measured with the optical sensor are completely sufficient for tracking your training performance in everyday life.
Will the display be toucheable?
