Inspired by Tokyo's urban design

Known for his fashion designs, Robert Geller now presents his first collaboration with G-SHOCK!
When night falls in Tokyo …

…the action begins in the urban jungle. And all these different urban elements and colours in Tokyo inspire the G-STEEL GST-200RBG Robert Geller Edition. The watch is completely black, with small gold accents on the display and a dark fuchsia second hand; a nod to Geller's latest collection. Together, these elements evoke an exciting image of Tokyo at night; glittering lights and the buildings that are illuminated so effectively.

"My favourite time in Tokyo is walking through the city in the middle of the night, when it is impossible to sleep because of the jet lag. The lights, smells and sounds are really magical and I wanted this watch to reflect that magic", said Geller.

Casual yet sophisticated

That Robert Geller understands his craft is demonstrated not only by the GQ & CFDA Award in the category "Best New Menswear Designer", which he won in 2009, but now also by his latest collaboration with G-SHOCK. The joint design is an absolutely classic and timeless masterpiece. Visually, the completely black watch with its ion-plated stainless steel metal band catches the eye immediately. Protected by stainless steel housing, also black, and by the legendary G-SHOCK shock resistance, the interior of this special edition also offers a host of useful features. As well as the world time, stopwatch, alarm and countdown timer functions, it also has an auto calendar.
Perfect interaction

"I have been working with G-SHOCK for several years, and was very pleased when we decided to create a watch together. I wore a G-SHOCK watch throughout my teenage years, so it is really exciting to be able to make my own, more grown up version", said Robert Geller. "For the past ten years, I have been producing my ready to wear collection in Japan because I love the quality and care of Japanese craftsmanship. G-SHOCK shares this same love, which is why this collaboration is a natural fit for us ".
